Check requirements for your passport
Travelling to Greece
Greece is known for Athens and the Acropolis and for its islands — Santorini, Mykonos, Crete and Rhodes among the most visited. Island-hopping by ferry is a classic way to travel, which makes a clear itinerary especially useful.
Planning tips for Greece
- Ferry timetables vary by season; check them before fixing hotel dates on each island.
- July and August are peak season on the islands; May, June and September are quieter.
- List every island stay in your itinerary so the bookings match your application.

How Vola helps with your Greece trip
- 01
Check the requirements for your passport
Select your passport above. Vola only shows requirements from records verified against a named official source, with the source and last verification date. If your route is not verified yet, the page says so — it never guesses.
- 02
Prepare and upload your documents
Start an application and upload documents as you collect them. Your progress is saved as a draft, so you can come back and finish later.
- 03
See the price before you pay
The Vola service fee and any government fee we have verified are shown before payment. A government fee we have not verified is never estimated.
- 04
Track your application
Follow each status update in your dashboard and message the Vola team from the same page.
Questions about Greece applications
Does Vola issue Greece visas?
No. Vola is an independent visa assistance company, not a government agency or embassy. The decision on any Greece visa or travel authorisation is always made by the relevant government authority; Vola helps you understand the requirements and prepare a complete application.
Where do the Greece requirements shown on Vola come from?
From records Vola staff verify against a named official source. Each result shows that source and the date it was last verified, and records are re-checked on a schedule. If there is no verified record for your passport yet, you will see "Requirements being verified" and can ask to be notified.
Can I start my Greece application before I have every document?
Yes. Your application is saved as a draft while you work on it, so you can upload documents as you collect them. A passport scan and a photo are needed before you submit.
How much does a Greece application cost with Vola?
It depends on your passport and trip. Before you pay, Vola shows its service fee and, when it has been verified, the government fee. If the government fee is not verified, Vola tells you rather than estimating it.
